Lost But Not Forgotten cannot thank you enough for your expertise, help and encouragement in working to establish our 501c3.  After false starts with those that said they would help but didn’t, we found you, the true expert.   Your knowledge of the laws and the forms and the non-profit world is incredible.  The best part is you don’t just fill out the forms.  You have taught us the whys and what to do in the non-profit world.

In his role writing a major grant for a partnership of five diverse organizations that had never worked together before, Robert coordinated and facilitated multiple meetings of the partnership representatives, and synthesized the different information from the organizations into an excellent successful grant proposal. He is excellent at keeping us on point, gathering information, guiding us, and writes very well. He is very easy to work with and brings strong knowledge and skills to his work with us.

Bob Reich is an Executive Director who actually has a passion for the arts community in its entirety. He never favored one format or program over another and treated each project with all his energy and interest. He always appeared tireless to me and open to ideas and input from others. As the Coordinator of PlacerArts Studios Tour I was treated with the utmost respect and always given the room to do my job. If I needed or wanted direction or support, all I had to do was ask and Bob was there giving 100% of himself to the situation at hand.

Chris Magisano, Owner, Maggie's Meltdown

Mr. Reich worked very diligently at building inroads into the Yuba Sutter Community which would enhance the relationships between the Arts Council and the business community as well as the citizens of this community. Membership in the organizations he participated in including the Marysville Rotary Club, Way,Way,Way Off Broadway Planning Committee, Yuba Sutter Performing Arts Committee, The Acting Company, and many others that were delighted at his contributions.

Not only was Mr. Reich a very creative person but he was a visionary which is absolutely necessary in the Arts world. Robert was able to write grants for the Arts Council successfully and as a result several very large grants were awarded including two NEA Grants and a James lrvine Foundation Grant. Both of these grants are quite prestigious and definitely an outstanding achievement for our rural and very small Arts Council.

l found Mr. Reich to be helpful, personable, and very intelligent. He was always very supportive of the activities of the Arts Council from our Very Special Arts yearly presentation to the Borgamaria Lyric Opera Company as well as a true champion of outreach of the Arts to our local schools.

Joaquina Calvo Johnson

Former President Yuba Sutter Regional Arts Council Board

I personally witnessed many positive changes that Bob was responsible for during his career with the City of Fairfield. Bob was responsible for taking a theater that was not successful to having sold out shows and productions. Bob developed complete entertainment family packages that successfully lead to sold out performances throughout the entire year. He was responsible for the first Veteran’s Day Parade that became a successful annual event. Bob began the Halloween Haunted House that provided entertainment for all members of the family. The list goes on and on. Bob was constantly busy coming up with innovative events for the City of Fairfield.

Janet Winslow

Former City of Fairfield Director of Housing

Bob is a dynamo and wore many different hats. He is an amazing planner and manager, and he brought performances to Fairfield the likes of which had never been seen before nor since. He managed a budget that was never quite large enough, and a varied, challenging staff, and somehow he managed to maximize both. As a person, he has a great sense of humor and has the ability to calmly hold it together when things get crazy. His understanding of the community and its interests, his talent for marketing, and his theatre management skills resulted in the steady increase in attendance and revenues.

Paula Diaz Strickland

Former Community Services Marketing Manager, City of Fairfield

As a member of the FVAA board, I worked closely with Bob Reich for several years. He was always very helpful in solving problems on issues that came up between the City of Fairfield and Fairfield Visual Arts Association. Again and again, I heard only good comments from our board members in working with Bob.

Our ability to get more visual arts to more people in the community was because of Bob Reich. Very few cities are able to work easily with a group like ours, but Bob was always there for our requests and even if something we wanted was not possible, he helped us understand why.

Fairfield Visual Arts Association President
